Group Name: Skittles. 

“There’s nobody quite like me”

It is important to assure the children on how special and unique they are. During the circle time, they danced and sang the song “What a miracle am I”. Understanding the message of the song, the children were given a head start to help them realize their potentials, to foster it for their greater good.

“Let’s All Work Together”

Every day we teach the children the skills they need to cope up with their growing years. Children taking the responsibility to tidy up their classroom and their surroundings every single day is one way of preparing them to become independent and responsible.

Responsible means they are trusted, they can make decisions and can face the consequences for their behavior. They had fun doing their fair share of work and at the end of the day, the classroom was clean and the children’s sense of responsibility was encouraged. A follow-up lesson about politeness was also introduced and again the children explored their imagination and creativity through a free artwork activity.


Group Name: Pollys.

A morning filled with fun and enjoyment is how we start our day.

Today little ones played table tennis.This inspired them to look forward and their energy was pushed to a higher level, allowing them to be ready for the day’s activities.

I am a postman!

It was great to learn about community helpers today.The Very exciting theme for the little ones as they pretend to be a postman.Children learn positive life lessons through play and there is no doubt that they will become honest, reliable adults.In that light, a lot of colorful mails were given to the little ones to engage in a simple activity of choosing an appropriate mailbox.During this activity, little Pollys were encouraged to express their thoughts as they realized that all mails are in the right place.

This was a unique activity because it provided an opportunity for children to strengthen their physical skills and enhance their social, emotional skills and language development.

Colorful lego!

Children should be taught how to overcome and find solutions to problems.

In this light, we had a Matching Lego game today.A lot of lego blocks were placed on the floor so after the demonstration of the teacher, kids were given the opportunity to try it out.They were very much involved trying to find the suitable color which will match with the rest.

It was such a beautiful experience to watch them put in so much effort in order to have the same solutions as the teacher.

There’s nothing more satisfying than seeing a happy and smiling child.

Color concentration!

Yummy Ice Cream Colors!

Colors are a part of everyday life. We enjoy bringing the beauty of colors to the young ones because the subject of colors has been always fun for them. It also enables kids to familiarize themselves with their environment. Little Seattles was given ice cream scoops to match with the ice cream cones.

Visual and Aural channels!

A guessing game was used to improve on number concept for kids. Mittens were cut out and placed on a chart paper. Below the mittens were numbers. Kids chose a favorite mitten, opened it and told us what number is there. Kids participated in games with so much enthusiasm so this medium of instruction helps to meet the needs of all learners in the Seattle classroom.

Kids ended up with a revision of phonic /P/by decorating the letter as demonstrated by their class teacher.
