It’s a happy Thursday!

The energy and enthusiasm reflect on every child’s face and action. Their amusement on singing and dancing together generate positive outcomes. When singing, children learned new words and dancing helps them perfect their control of their arms and legs.

Little Skittles put into practice what they learned about safety by holding the rails and walking slowly towards the room.Able to identify the things inside a First Aid kit is proof of the children’s understanding about the topic “Safety First”

“Yoga for Health”

The more we work together, the happier we are…

All the children were brought together for a Yoga session. The activity ignited the camaraderie among the children as well as the teachers. Working hand in hand for the benefit of the children is one good quality White Fields Nursery can offer.

Ready for another amazing day?

Warm up and let`s start!

Kids started the day with Yoga hour and it was a great way to exercise and allow the child`s mind to be fresh for the rest of the day. There are many ways to encourage and help kids to learn about safety because the signs are all around us. It is easy to play and get kids more versed with the concept, it helps solidify their understanding.Kids had  Road safety puzzle today and they enjoyed during this activity.It was a beautiful, creative journey for the little ones.

Numeracy hour helped to improve on recalling and recognition of numbers, as different numbers were presented to the kids to match according to their corresponding numbers.

It was interesting for the kids listening to the story narrated by the teacher. Listening to stories is a great way to improve their language and communication skills.

Next week holds more discoveries for them…

 

Group Name: Seattles

Rain safety! Spring showers!

Rain, rain go away. Come again another day.

Little Seattles wants to play. Rain, rain go away.

As they learned about being safe when it is raining, they sang this song while protecting themselves from the rain. This helps them practice pitch, volume as well as language rhythm.

Umbrella craft.

They had umbrellas made out of paper plates and pipe cleaners. This was to help improve on their imagination and creative skills. As they made the craft they learned the new word umbrella to improve their literacy skills as well.

Kids enjoyed having exercise as well as yoga with their friends. This helps to refresh their minds and prepare them for a busy day.
