Textural Creation

Group Name: Skittles. 

Skittles day started with an amazing outdoor bowling game. This was the desert animal bowling. Kids were able to knock down animals like fox, camels, snakes, scorpions and many other. This game required kids to leap over obstacles. This was an awesome way to exercise their bodies as they all know that regular exercises are good for developing our muscles and physical bodies.

Cucumber cactus sensory play.

Kids were happy to imagine that cucumber would turn into a desert cactus if they stick toothpicks and a natural flower on top. This was an incredible way to appreciate the world that the kids live, but most importantly, they develop their cognitive and fine skills.

Expressive arts and design.

The kids made a desert fox craft, gave its eyes, ears and a nose to sniff around in the desert for its prey. A good way to develop our fine motor skills. They also enjoyed using scissors to cut papers.

Literacy class.

This was about tracing and reviewing phonic /c/ this was aimed at boosting their literacy and fine motor skills.

Group Name: Pollys.

Another busy day for our Pollys…

Let’s warm up and start our day with song and dance.The kids were so excited to work on their little muscles. Great workout little ones!

Pollys were very busy today.

Learning about desert life was interesting today. Children’s understanding of basic concepts is important in the early years. They also help children become more effective communicators. Today little ones boosted their knowledge about desert life.

They used their tiny hands in order to make a perfect desert book. A lot of desert animals were presented to the kids and they were able to identify all and stick it in this lovely book. Camel, scorpion, snake, desert fox, coyote, mouse, tarantula… all of them are living in the spacious desert.

This was a great way to encourage kids to express their thoughts and develop their language skills. Rabbit race game was perfect for this hot summer day. Little ones were so active as they jumped very high trying to avoid all obstacles on their way. This was a great way to exercise their little bodies and they were so much involved in order to reach the target line. This game requires a lot of concentration and it was great for boosting their physical, social and emotional skills.

Mining for germs!

This was a great science investigative activity with sand and some white foam board particles. Kids were given hand lenses as well as some sand. They were in search to uncover some treasures beneath the sand. The kids were excited to show everyone their rare findings.

Textural and sand painting creation!

It was fun painting with sand today for kids. Kids were provided with colored sand, some glue, and paper plates. They had some glue on the paper plates and then sprinkle the sand on it. This activity was perfect for honing fine motor skills and boosting hand-eye coordination.

Budding young mathematicians!

The kids counted the numbers and matched them up according to the chart which was presented to them. They were given some numbers on kangaroo to match up with the numbers on the chart. This was in order to review number 5, 6, 7, 8. They ended up with a lizard craft.

A good learning experience today…
